To be inducted during the September 2026 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, your complete application should be received by April 30, 2026.

For Non‑Members
Your first step is to join ACA as a Fellow Applicant.
This enrollment counts as submitting your Fellowship application and paying the $500 non-refundable application fee.

For Current ACA Pharmacist Members
Apply directly using the ACA Member to Fellow Pathway Application Form.
The $500 application fee is being waived for current ACA Pharmacist Members in good standing applying before April 30, 2026.

Fellowship Application Requirements
To complete your application folder, submit the following materials to membership@acainfo.org within 14 of submitting your initial application:
- Patient medication profile (or computer‑generated profile)
- Completed prescription label
- Sample counseling materials
- Sample advertising or promotional materials
- Photograph of you in normal working attire
- Interior and exterior photographs of your pharmacy
- Sketch of your pharmacy layout, including entry, windows, gondolas, display areas, shelving, prescription department, counseling area, pharmacist’s office, fitting room, storage area, etc.
Once all materials are received, the Admissions Committee will contact you to schedule your interview and pharmacy inspection.
All Fellowship requirements must be completed within 12 months of application.
Interview & Pharmacy Inspection
Pharmacy Inspection
A current ACA Fellow will inspect your pharmacy. Inspections may be conducted in person or virtually.
Personal Interview
A 20–30 minute interview with Admissions Committee members, held in person or virtually.
Review & Approval Process
- The Admissions Committee evaluates your qualifications.
- Approved applicants are recommended to the ACA Board of Directors.
- Upon Board approval, you become a Fellow Nominee.
Induction as a Full Fellow
Nominees are inducted at a regular meeting of the College.
If you cannot attend, induction in absentia is permitted—though we encourage joining the celebration in person.
Life as an ACA Fellow
Following induction, Fellows are encouraged to engage through:
- Committee service
- Speaking opportunities
- Recruitment and mentorship
- Advocacy and leadership initiatives

When can I use the FACA designation?
After your formal induction and while you remain an ACA member in good standing. Applicants and non‑members may not use FACA.
What if I cannot attend the induction ceremony?
You may be inducted in absentia.

Any licensed pharmacist in any practice setting who meets ACA’s Standards of Practice for Pharmacists.
