Call for Nominations – ACA Board of Directors

Nominations are now open for the 2025-2026 Board of Directors. This year, there are two Director seats for which candidates are sought, as well as nominees for the position of ACA Vice President.

The Vice President and Directors are elected by a majority of the votes of Members for a term beginning at the next Annual Meeting.

  1. The Vice-President shall:
    1. Assume the duties of the President-Elect in their absence.
    2. Assume the role of President-Elect at the annual meeting after serving as the Vice-President.
    3. Coordinate and assist Directors in supporting chapter and faculty activities.
    4. Serve on the Membership Committee
  2. The Directors shall:
    1. Attend all Board of Directors meetings to represent the membership’s interests.
    2. Assist in the review and approval of applicants for Fellowship.
    3. May be called upon to inspect the practice site of a member to maintain the professional standards and ethical practices of the ACA.
    4. Assist in the formation and continuation of chapters.
    5. Serve on at least one committee.

A Full Fellow or Pharmacist Member (including New Practitioners and International Pharmacist Members) in good standing may serve as Vice President of the College.
Duties of Vice President Include:
•Serve as Chairman of the Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee.
• Coordinate and assist Regional Directors in supporting local and student chapter activities.
• Coordinate and assist Regional Directors in supporting activities of state directors.
• The Vice President shall assume the duties of the President-Elect in their absence.
The Vice President will be installed at the annual meeting. At the conclusion of their term, the Vice President will assume the office of President-Elect.

A Full Fellow or Pharmacist Member (including New Practitioners) in good standing may serve as a Regional Director.
Responsibilities

• Board Meetings are held Bi-Monthly via Zoom
• Attend In Person Meetings
• Report to the Board of Directors on his/her activities since the last Board meeting
• Communicate ACA Activities to Members in Region
• Participate in the Membership Committee
• Interview New Fellows in your Region
• Promote ACA within Region
