Policy & Procedure Best Practices: What You Have vs. What You Need
Inspection Tips and Insights

Let’s be honest. Writing, developing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining policies and procedures is daunting. Many pharmacies choose to purchase their policies and procedures from a 3rd party entity and want to call it a day. In the binder and on the shelf they go. Problem solved; box checked. “Yes, we have a SOP for that” becomes the answer during an inspection or audit. But do you have what you really need?

Policies and standard operating procedures are vastly different yet are often looked at as one in the same. This presentation will break down the differences between them and talk about some of the most common missing and needed pharmacy policies and compounding SOPs. Topics covered will include DSCSA, vendor management, organizational structure, compounding procedures, staff training, competency assessments, and more.

Join us to learn more about recent gaps and trends in policy and procedure management.

This meeting will not offer CE.

This meeting is open to all Pharmacy Professionals:
