1:00 pm ET / 12:00pm CT / 11:00 am MT / 10:00 am PT

Independent pharmacy owners are facing unprecedented financial pressure. Shrinking reimbursement, increasing operating costs, and cash flow constraints are making it more difficult than ever to prepare for retirement. At the same time, many owners unknowingly overpay investment and retirement plan fees, creating another obstacle to building long-term financial security.

As a result, more pharmacy owners are finding themselves delaying retirement, reducing their expected lifestyle in retirement, or feeling pressured to sell their pharmacy to the highest bidder rather than transitioning it on their own terms.

In this webinar, Benjamin Coakley, CFP®, will discuss why making every investment dollar work harder has become essential for independent pharmacy owners. Attendees will learn how investment and retirement plan costs affect long-term outcomes, where unnecessary expenses often exist, and how the American College of Apothecaries’ investment and retirement plan pricing can help members improve the efficiency of their retirement savings.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand how investment and retirement plan fees affect long-term retirement outcomes.
2. Identify common sources of unnecessary costs in investment portfolios and employer-sponsored retirement plans.
3. Recognize how improving investment efficiency can strengthen retirement readiness in today’s independent pharmacy environment.
4. Learn about the American College of Apothecaries’ investment and retirement plan pricing available to members.
5. Leave with practical steps to evaluate current retirement savings and investment expenses to help maximize every dollar invested.

Speakers:

Benjamin Coakley, CFP®, is the Chief Vision Officer of The Waypoint Company. He works with pharmacy owners, healthcare professionals, businesses, and individuals to develop cost-effective retirement and investment strategies. Benjamin specializes in identifying unnecessary investment expenses and implementing evidence based solutions designed to help clients keep more of their returns and improve their long-term financial outcomes.
