Compounding for the Veterinary Patient | 6-hour ACPE-accredited home study
Compounding for the Veterinary Patient is a 6-hour ACPE-accredited home study designed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who want to strengthen their knowledge of veterinary compounding. This self-paced program explores the regulatory, clinical, and practical considerations involved in preparing customized medications for animal patients while supporting safe and compliant pharmacy practice.
Participants will review veterinary compounding regulations, extra-label drug use, office-use compounding, patient-specific prescription requirements, and current FDA guidance affecting veterinary pharmacy practice.
